Stretch Velvet – Wine

Description:
148cm wide, beautiful quality stretch velvet dress fabric. A 4-way stretch knitted velour, this is going to make comfortable tops, stretchy skirts, dresses and it is especially good for evening wear. In a lively wine red colour, this really is a nice quality dress velvet. It is very soft and has a good stretch because of the 7% elastane. Another name for this is panne velvet, because of its lustrous finish. There are lots on the market but this is not a cheap version. It is a medium weight jersey, good for covering lumps and bumps and has a classy lustre/sheen (not cheap looking or too shiny) just right. Due to the excess dye used in this cloth we recommend washing before use

What Can I Make With This?:	Skirt, top, dress, evening wear. Good for patterns that say stretch jersey.
