Pure Linen – Black

230gsm lovely black mid-weight washed linen fabric for jackets, dresses and shirts. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 

This fabric comes with all the slubiness you would expect from linen, it feels soft and will soften with further washing.

If you are gearing up for a tropical holiday then this is the right fabric for lounging in hot weather. If not, then it is just a wonderful fabric to wear but expect some creasing.

This fabric has been enzymed washed and not chemically treated. Linen has some green credentials too as no extra water is needed in its production. This is meaning it has a reduced environmental impact compared to other fabrics. 

According to the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp, “Across its lifecycle, a linen shirt uses 6.4 litres of water” compared to 2,700 litres for a cotton shirt.

• Please allow up to 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side. For all fabrics wash before making up in the same manner as would with subsequent washes (including drying methods).
