Description

The Corin top features a relaxed fit with a drapey drop shoulder and a wide round neckline. It comes with two sleeve options – a ruffled cap sleeve and a straight 3/4 length sleeve. The front and back waist can be gathered with optional elastic for added shaping and visual interest. The pattern offers three views, but the sleeves and elastic can be mixed and matched to create up to six different variations. Sewing techniques involved include setting sleeves, sewing straight seams, applying bias facing, creating an elastic casing, and basic hemming.

Fabric Suggestions

Light to medium-weight woven fabrics that have plenty of drape such as double gauze, charmeuse, crepe de chine, viscose, and viscose blends. However, if you plan to make the ruffle sleeve version of this top, we advise against using linen as it may not drape as well. If you’re working with plaids, stripes, or one-way design prints, you may need to purchase extra fabric to ensure that everything matches up perfectly.
